Do Garden Buildings add value to your home?
The short answer is yes! Not only does a Garden Room attract more potential buyers, a high-quality Garden Building can add between 5% and 15% of value to your home. Also, for homeowners keen to add more floor space to their property a garden room is a far less invasive and costly option compared to an extension or garage/loft conversion.
Do Garden Buildings need planning permission?
Most of our Garden Buildings have been designed so that the room size and height fall within permitted development guidelines and do not need planning.
What ground work/foundations are required?
Foundations are site specific and can range from Ground Screws to a concrete slab. Garden Spaces 4U will take full responsibility of the foundations and will assess and decide the correct method during our site visit.
Can you design Bespoke Garden Buildings?
Yes, all our buildings are made to order and can be made to any size and specification.
Can I use my Garden Building all year round?
Yes. All our buildings come with double glazing and completely insulated (floors, walls, and ceilings) with a mix of 70mm and 100mm PIR insulation boards as standard. We also provide a wall mounted electrical heater that make the Garden Building as comfortable as a room in your house even during the Winter months.
How long does it take to install a garden room?
Typically our builds take between 14-21 days to complete. We try to limit the amount of time we spend on site by completing as much of the build as possible in our workshop and transport it to site in sections to re-assemble and add the finishing touches. This means there is less chance of the weather effecting the project and we have use of a lot of heavy machinery in our workshop which ensure a more precise and higher quality finished product. All our customers are more than welcome to come to the workshop at any point and view the progress of their build throughout.
